Compressed Natural Gas Rolls Out in Philippines

BIÑAN, Laguna, Philippines -- After years of delay, the Shell Companies in the Philippines started Wednesday the commercial run of its "mother-daughter" refilling stations for compressed natural gas (CNG). The mother station is in Tabangao, Batangas, while the daughter or refilling station is in Biñan, Laguna. This means that the first 22 CNG-fed buses in the country can now start plying the Laguna-Cubao/Lawton and Batangas-Cubao/Lawton routes.
